Bisbee Coalition for the Homeless (BCH) operates an emergency shelter near Highway 92 in Bisbee, Arizona.

Although the nickname suggests that it only serves those who are homeless, BCH serves anyone who may be in need, offering a wide variety of services.
The BCH is not only an emergency shelter, but is also a state and county-recognized food pantry, as well as a Cochise County certified food kitchen.
BCH provides about 1800 meals for those in need - from hot meals prepared by employees and volunteers to sacks of food.

BCH also has laundry and shower that are open to the public for use.
BCH understands the importance of personal hygiene and offers personal hygiene items such as shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush and the like.
Blankets, backpacks, clean socks, t-shirts and underwear are also given.

The shelter uses a case plan that requires each client to proactively transition to sobriety, self-sufficiency and more permanent housing.

Case management services
We provide our clients with a 2-week program that requires each client to take initiative in rebuilding, returning to normal, finding a job or benefit and finding a suitable, more permanent home.

Services for residents

All residents of the shelter are fed and have access to bathrooms and laundry facilities.
Hospitality Services

We also offer drop-in services:

Food bags: every night at 5pm.

- Every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 to 14:00.
Laundry: Every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 2pm.
Heavy rain: every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 to 14:00
Hot meals: every night, but wednesday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
-- Wednesday night from 4:30 to 6:00

You can get a blanket, personal hygiene items and underwear every evening at 5pm.
