Star of Hope Mission - Women and Family Development Center at Star of Hope's Cornerstone Community

The Women and Family Development Center at Star of Hopes Cornerstone Community provides a continuum of care including crisis services through intensive programs offering stability, personal development and hope. Each day at the Women & Family Development Center we house up to 150 families and 180 single women which starts them on the path to stability. We provide programs to help residents break the generational cycle of abuse, neglect and addiction that traps so many single women and families through:
30 days to 18 months of basic care through transformational programs
Case Management
Safe housing and basic services
Needed social services, guidance, therapy and support to begin healing emotional scars
UTCADA licensed intensive substance abuse recovery program
Spiritual recovery, Bible studies and chapel services
Work force development and education to help set and achieve employment goals and independent living
A state-licensed Childrens Program, including child care, preschool, after school activities, homework assistance
A Teen Program focusing on education and healthy living patterns and transition to college
Referrals for and assistance to secure permanent housing
