Eastern Nebraska Community Action Partnership (ENCAP)

Eastern Nebraska Community Action Partnership (ENCAP) has been a part of Nebraska since 1965 when we opened our first offices in Omaha. For more than 50 years, ENCAP has helped Nebraskans improve their lives by providing access to the education, resources, and tools they need to help themselves.
ENCAP wants the people it serves to lead the positive changes in their lives. We build relationships with clients based on mutual respect and accountability. Through a variety of programs, from behavioral health, to food and nutrition, to family support, and providing transportation, ENCAP uses best practices and innovative programming to make a meaningful difference in the communities that we serve.
Food is essential to well-being. Only when a person has their basic needs met are they able to see and achieve their goals. ENCAP provides access to nutritious food and the opportunity to produce fresh food.
