HRDC's Transitional Housing Shelter: HRDC operates a 14-bed transitional housing shelter for homeless women and homeless women and their children.
Residents of the shelter may reside for up to 24 months to three months and receive intensive case management to help transition from homeless to self-sufficient.

My friend, a male 37 years of age, is homeless the last three weeks, for the first time in his life. Is there help for him, in Alleghany County, MD. Is there temporary to permanent housing, single apartment or small townhouse? He lost his home and car and is walking in a strange state and city, in North Carolina. I can not help him financially, and my home is extremely small.
Need motel stay.
