The Salvation Army Jones Residence
Salvation Armys Family Residence program offers shelter along with a full schedule of classes and counseling designed to address the underlying causes of homelessness and facilitate healing, thereby providing the necessary tools to return to independence (computer instruction, cooking/nutrition, financial planning, health issues, life skills, parenting, etc.). Children have the opportunity to attend field trips, parties, and an educational summer day camp. Residents may be referred to the Salvation Army Home Sweet Home program for further housing assistance, if they display sincere desire to improve their lives during their stay.
